About WWM:

Women’s Workforce Montana is a workforce development program, envisioned by Missoula’s Clean Energy Coalition in 2022, to encourage more women to be first in line for the employment opportunities arising alongside the investment in clean energy by the city of Missoula and the state of Montana.

  • Climate Smart Missoula builds and accelerates climate solutions for Missoula and beyond.

  • The MEP expands prosperity and improves quality of life by engaging in strategic business development, creating pathways for people to realize their potential, and fostering our culture of diversity and innovation.

  • Together , the Missoula College of Industrial Technology and GRIT: Girls Representing In Trades are working to encourage more women to gain practical skills and lucrative careers.

  • Mountain Home Montana provides a safe home and nurturing community where young mothers can discover their strengths and their children can thrive.

  • The City of Missoula is motivated to create clean energy opportunities for all.

  • Missoula County is dedicated to economic development of western Montana through skilled trades opportunities and beyond.

The Clean Energy Coalition

is a diverse group of municipal, non-profit, and educational partners with a mission to help low-income women break the cycle of poverty and to scale up a diverse and equitable clean energy workforce. Learn more about each partner below.

Where our funding comes from….

WOMEN’S WORKFORCE MONTANA is an investment of the Montana Department of Environmental Quality, the Department of Energy, and Missoula’s Clean Energy Workforce Coalition. Through grants and community donations we are able to bring this program to life.
