The Program
The Women’s Workforce Montana program is a series of in-person intensives focused on skilled trades employability to support women and gender minorities in gaining the confidence and qualifications needed to secure a career in construction & clean energy.

Gain hand & power tool expertise, materials basics, construction math, industry vocabulary, principals of building science and clean energy fundamentals

Earn an OSHA 10 certification and a Job Site Ready certificate

Physical ergonomics and injury prevention training tailored to women in construction

Get informed about: navigating gender bias in a male-dominated industry, employees rights, interview skills, portfolio and resume building

Ask us about child care and transportation stipends, scholarships, and more

Meet and foster relationships with local trades women, industry partners and maintain access to WWM resources after graduation
The expected time commitment is approximately 100 hours over 2 months. WWM requires attendance Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays every other week, and one 2-3 hour event on Thursday evenings on the weeks between.
WWM’s wrap around services and resources are available to all participants to help them fill in the gaps.
